Meet Claudia Rubio

Gendai Reiki Ho Master & Facilitator

Originally from Colombia, Claudia began her Reiki journey in Arizona nine years ago. Since then she has shared Reiki with many people and witnessed the peace, relaxation and personal transformation it can bring.

A journey to Japan

About two and a half years ago, a personal practice became a deeper commitment to understanding and preserving the traditional Japanese teachings of Reiki.

That commitment led Claudia to Japan, where she met Hiroshi Doi Sensei, founder of Gendai Reiki Ho, and took part in international Reiki Master workshops, receiving teachings directly from him.

Honoring the Japanese tradition

Gendai Reiki Ho brings together traditional Japanese Usui Reiki teachings and practices adapted for modern life. It honors the simplicity of Reiki itself, without crystals, stones or other tools, and its numbered teaching manuals are shared only through authorized channels to keep the teachings authentic.

As a Gendai Reiki Ho Master, Claudia feels a deep responsibility to share this lineage with integrity, respect and authenticity.

From fear of horses to a beautiful connection

“When my Reiki Master first invited me to Reiki Among the Horses, I have to confess something: I was terrified of horses!”

Curiosity led Claudia to learn about horses: their intelligence, their extraordinary sensitivity and the special bond they have shared with people throughout history. Eventually she decided to face her fear.

Her first experience among the horses revealed a beautiful connection between their gentle presence and the peace of Reiki. Fear became admiration, trust and a profound love for horses. For about a year and a half she has offered these sessions, first developed with Sozo Healing House and Serenity Stables in Chandler.

In her understanding, horses also have a remarkable ability to sense energetic imbalances and help release stagnant energy. The Japanese Gendai Reiki community has encouraged her to bring the two practices together while respecting the traditional teachings.

The vision

To bring this experience to more people and places through partnerships with horse owners, ranches and stables, always honoring the well-being of the horses and the integrity of the Japanese Reiki tradition.
